QOTW: How ‘good’ are you at doing doll hair?

As a person, I’m horrible at hair styles for me. On a regular day, I do a ponytail. There’s occasionally a braid, or a headband or something. But other than that, my hair is very not-styled.
As for my doll’s hair? A lot of them have long hair and I don’t really do anything with it. Sometimes there’s a braid, sometimes I twist it up into a bun… But for the most part, I don’t do anything with it. I’m pretty content to not do anything because sometimes it’s just a pain to find an outfit with shoes that go with it and do something with their hair at the same time.
It’s hard to get myself excited about that aspect. It’s fun to go through the box of shoes to find the ‘perfect’ shoes to go with whatever outfit that I pulled out. That’s the fun part of it for me – the doll plus shoes, clothes. But hair? Ehhh… Sometimes it’s just boring and I don’t like messing with it. Sometimes I do, but most of the time I just don’t…
Does that make me a bad dolly owner?

I am terrible at hair too (both mine and Blythe’s)!
I have a tendency to only pick girls with medium to short hair. The thought of having a girl with floor length hair is all too much lol.
I am as lazy with doll hair as I am with my own. Bun, braid or pony tail. That is all I can do.
I have 5 dollies and they all have different lengths of hair (2 with very log) and I must admit, I favor the short hair dolls. I’m inept when it comes to hairstyles. My own hair is wash and go and I still look like a hot mess!! LOL So, therefore, I prefer short hair Blythes, although I admire lovingly, from a far, long haired Blythes!
I suck at doing hair. That’s why it’s a good thing that I only have a son and that my hair is super short. I think my mom must have sucked at doing hair too, because I spent the first eleven years of my life in braids – EVERY DAY (and then I cut all of my hair off)! Armed with this genetic defect, of course I suck at doing my dolls’ hairs also. While I love their long hair, alas, they are stuck wearing pony tails!
