QOTW: Are you a fan of the Littlest Pet Shop show?

When Hasbro came out with Blythe as a babysitter in the LPS toy line, some people were apprehensive about it. After all, there was already a Petite-sized Blythe and she was not associated with small animals! But after a while, people began to accept the LPS Petite. Not only was she easily accessible through major toy retailers and department stores, it also opened up the opportunity for Hasbro to put out things like stationary and bags with Blythe on it.

With the new Littlest Pet Shop cartoon (airs Saturdays on The Hub), Hasbro has yet again redefined what Blythe looks like in order to better have the doll match the cartoon character, Blythe Baxter. Blythe is a girl who lives above a pet shop and she hits her head and then realizes that she can speak to (and understand) the animals. If you haven’t seen the show yet, you can find clips on The Hub’s website and watch full episodes on Saturdays on The Hub.

Oooh I haven’t seen it yet! I want to, it looks cute.
I am, as I may have mentioned like a thousand times, deeply in love with LPS Blythes. What’s going on with them? Are they discontinuing? I heard about the ‘new style’ LPS Blythe but saw nothing afterwards?
I’ve never seen the show, but it sounds cute. I absolutely hate the newest incarnation of the LPS Blythe. The other ones are so cute. This one just looks like a cheap knock-off of Polly Pocket.
