QOTW: Bringing Blythe to Work?

I’ve mentioned bringing Blythes to work before. I happen to work in an office setting for a summer job and I got a desk (in a cubicle) where I set my Blythe on the desk next to my computer monitor. Sometimes people notice, sometimes they don’t. After getting moved to a corner cubicle where nobody comes to visit, I’d brought a Blythe far more often to work to keep me company. Dolls are fantastic company in that they don’t fuss, they don’t make a mess (generally) and they’re great at keeping quiet while you’re trying to work to meet a deadline or answer an important email.
Do you bring Blythe to work?
My Blythe actually spends most of her time sitting on my desk at work… I rarely have brought her home 0_0
I’ve never worked in an appropriate environment really… retail or hospitality, mostly. If I had a cubicle of my own, I think I would. 🙂 I’d also decorate it so much lol
I think it depends on your job. With my job, I have no desk or set work place so it would mean having one in my purse. I’ve done so before but I’d only bring a petite, maybe a middie.
Yep…I bring my girls to work with me. I teach elementary school so they are very popular!
I bring my Blythe girls to work, too! I work in a small library and the staff is so wonderful. The women I work with love my dolls and the men usually just ignore them (their loss!) I bring my big girls, my Petites, sometimes my Strawberry Shortcake doll. I feel incredibly lucky to have such a great work environment.
I love to bring my girls, but I usually leave them in my locker for security. I take them out of their carry case and prop them up so that when I open the locker on breaks, I see their beautiful little faces. Most of my coworkers really like them too, so sometimes they attend team meetings, parties, and trainings with me. I brought them to meet my new coworkers when I was training them, and they were truly initiated into the dept! Lol.
Yup, they definitely cheer me up, my workmates are used to it now. I made a blog post of my recent pics of the girls at work:http://www.222am.org/bring-your-blythe-to-work/
