QOTW: Which doll is your most neglected?

I have quite a few Blythes, being nearly five years into the hobby. It’s a great hobby and I’ve met some wonderful people during this time. But during that time, my interest in the dolls themselves wanes in and out, mostly due to time constraints. I’ve found my interest in particular dolls ebbs with my interests and some dolls capture my interest more than others.
Looking back at my older dolls, particularly not the ones that entered in my plastic family in the last year, I find that I probably neglect Kindred quite a bit. She’s my only SBL, so I won’t ever be customizing her because of the challenges that exist there plus I can’t bring myself to customize her. Then there were the issues with the ‘yellowed’ eyes (different type of white), and the extreme downward gaze. Yet some of Kindred’s most attractive qualities is that her eyes are a dream to roll by hand and she’s got some great makeup (vivid blue eyeshadow, anyone?) and plus she came with some gorgeous (and plentiful!) stock items. Velvet Minuet is still the first Blythe doll that I saw at the beginning, and she was the one that drew me into the hobby to begin with. But now it’s time to acknowledge the fact that I do neglect her from time to time – in particular with outfit changes and bringing her to meets. Maybe that will change now that I’m more aware of this and I’ll bring her to some meets in the future.
Which doll of yours is the most neglected?
My most neglected doll is Tash, the Casual Affair base doll that I customized myself. It was my very first attempt, so I made tons of mistakes. She’s cute, but as I look at all my other customs I am critical of my errors. I should just love her for what she is, the second Blythe to enter my plastic family and the one I put some of my very own creativity into. Maybe I’ll take some pictures of her this week. 🙂
Currently they are equally neglected and I seem to do everything in a big group with all of them. I would say my prairie posie has the worst hair and I don’t like it so I ignore her. She needs to be washed and conditioned maybe then she would be better.
Aw, Kindred! I want to play with her now.
My most neglected girl is probably my Prima Dolly Paris, Gavin. I’m fond of her, yet her particular coloring (so pale, with those purple lips!) makes it difficult for me to dress her. Nothing really looks quite right on her. I initially got her with intent to customize her, as I think PDPa is so lovely given some color, but I am not sure how I want her to look so I’ve never had her done.
Definitely my Asian Butterfly. I find it hard to match her hair with stuff.
My SBL T42, Willow, is my most neglected doll. Unfortunately, she is so neglected that I left a dark colored outfit on her for a long time and now she has some nice black “tattoos” on both of her arms . . . And that has made me neglect her even more. Poor thing! I probably should move her on to someone who will love her more.
