QOTW: Have you had moments of no dolly time?

There are moments in my life when I spend more time with my textbooks and notes than with my dolls. Unfortunately, such is the life of a full-time student. And there comes time when I can’t spend as much time crafting and creating for the Blythes as I would like, because I’m too busy or preoccupied with reading about how to do a packed dressing change or about how some drugs work. Nursing school trump doll time. And as midterms approach, nursing school definitely trumps doll time.
Have you had moments of no dolly time?
Oh yes I have had very little Dolly time since I had a real life dolly in 2012. I also haven’t read a book since then either. Sigh good thing she is worth it!
Yes. Unfortunately, I have a few chronic pain ailments that flare up a lot lately. I love to design and sew outfits for my girls and am now working on an epic dollhouse for them. It gets really frustrating either being too ill to craft or too busy catching up on housework, etc. The ideas keep piling up in my head but my body won’t cooperate. Sigh. At least I get to look at them while I’m laid up …
Absolutely — I’m sure we all do! Even those of us who aren’t full-time students! I do a lot of different things and have many hobbies and sometimes my dolly shelf gets dusty and my girls will stay in their dresses for a few months. C’est la vie!
