QOTW: What are your other hobbies?

I am terribly curious sometimes and I was wondering what your other hobbies were – the ones that aren’t directly related to Blythe.

For me personally, I enjoy crafting a lot. I knit, crochet, and make jewellery. I also blog (this may seem obvious, considering what you’re reading right now), and I drink tea! I actually started a tea blog this year in August, and a lot of the gifts I’m giving this holiday season are handmade by me. I’m attempting to add sewing to my hobbies, but it’s difficult when you don’t really have the space of more craft supplies (my yarn takes up a lot of space!) and you need the space for cutting and whatnot as well, as I’d really like to get into quilting.

What are your other hobbies?

I like sewing so my dolls are taking advantage of that. I used to make and sell jewelry, my dolls take advantage of that as well :)) any craft you can think of from quilting, tie dye, pottery, cross stitching, painting, drawing, etc. I have done it. I even crochet /knit like you but after years of crafting I got carpal tunnel syndrome and even after surgery I can’t do crochet anymore. It just hurts so much.
So my house is like a small joann store :)))

Oh, goodness, do I have hobbies! I sometimes feel like I could spend 24/7 just on hobbies and I still wouldn’t have time for everything I’m interested in doing. I like to knit, design knitting patterns, sew (especially for Blythe!), design and work in the garden, practice my photography skills, organize things, cross stitch, design and make functional quilts and art quilts, work on my cooking and baking skills, do home decor and arrangement, restore and refurbish wood furniture and accessories (especially vintage and antique), thrift shop, and probably a bunch of other things I’m not thinking of at the moment. 🙂 Just making this list, I wish I could retire tomorrow and spend my time on fun projects!

I was attracted to Blythe through two hobbies: sewing and photography. I also paint, write, garden, cook and flower-arrange. Sometimes I make sculptures. Two things I have tried and failed miserably at: knitting and shoe-making (for dolls). Just awful. I buy those. ???? The wonderful thing about Blythe is how inspiring she is. She can join in with almost any hobby, I think.
