QOTW: Fess up, who’s your favourite?

It was easier to say what Blythe is my favourite when I only had one (or even two). But when you have more than that, it’s hard to go “Yes, I do have a favourite” because they’re all here for a reason. I considered this question a lot when I thought about downsizing. While I’m not in a position where I need to sell any of my dolls, it’s always interesting to consider who I would be willing to let go, if I absolutely had to. I ended up looking at my dolls more critically, considering who’s little face I’d miss the most looking back at me.
So when pressed, I considered each doll one at a time. I considered who I would never sell, unless very hard pressed, and I came up with four (of the twelve). This is a thing going around Flickr, so you can share your ‘forever four’ there.
Top row is: Primrose (Kenner) and Eden Mouse (mostly stock Punkaholic People)
Bottom row: Sophie (mostly stock Cappuccino Chat) and Emmalynn (Kenner)
Who is your favourite Blythe in your doll family?
I love all my crew, but I favor one, Petey Glum. She’s the one with the most attitude.
I love all of my dolls and I would never, never, never let go of any of them, not even if my life depended on that or someone offered me big money for them. I’d rather get rid of something else.
If I had to “sell my dolls” as the story goes, it would leave me inevitably with the ones that carry the lowest price tag. Of those three, Cassie is the clear fave. The other two are an RBL and ADG customized by me, and if no one wanted them, they would stay. What is heartbreaking to think about (and I don’t like this forever four business!) is that if I needed the money THAT badly, it would be my Kozies, Rosie, Mondie, and Aztec that would have to go first, because they carry the biggest price tags. I don’t want to EVER sell my BLs!
I have a Neo, an ADG, a mystery clone, a middie and a petite. Couldn’t part with any of them. They all mirror a facet of myself in some way. Between Lisbeth’s rebellion and angst, Madeleine’s girlish love of fashion, Agnetha’s beauty and grace, Tallulah’s polished professionalism and Berneen’s boldness, I can easily live vicariously through my little girls!
