Traditionally the day for pranks, I felt like April 1st would be better served being a day about recognition! I decided to do a little recap of the individuals I interviewed for the 2016 March Talent Showcase. If you are interested in being interviewed for BlytheLife.com, I interview people throughout the year! Get more information on being featured on BlytheLife.com here. I will be asking for participants in the 2017 March Talent Showcase in early January 2017.
First up was Andreja of Katjuss with those amazing miniatures!

And then there was Becky of Scrumptious Delight with her lovely custom work, clothes, and adorable plush!

Followed by Eliana of ClassicBlythe with her lovely crafted outfits:

Last, but certainly not least, was my interview with Ellis of Wabi-Sabi Dolls with her beautiful custom work!

I’d like to thank Andreja, Becky, Eliana, and Ellis again for generously sharing themselves to you, the BlytheLife.com reader. And to everyone who commented on any of the interviews, thank you!

I love meeting new people and showcasing the wonderful people in the Blythe community. Generally, the interviews that I do are focused on people who create things for sale (custom dolls, clothes, miniatures/furniture, etc.) but what about the rest of the Blythe enthusiast population? After all, there are many people who don’t customize dolls or sew or knit – they just love Blythe and they are no less or more important than other people in the doll community. These are the people who make it possible for the creators to have clients and they probably out number the creators.
This new feature I’m bringing to BlytheLife.com is called Everyday Collector. It’s about shining the spotlight on a Blythe collector, just because. (Please note, if you do happen to customize dolls or create miniatures or clothing, you can still be featured!)
You can fill out the questions for the Everyday Collector feature here.

A little reminder that the March Talent Showcase for 2016 is coming up! For every Friday in March, I will be showcasing a talent in the Blythe community and that makes me very excited! There will be four individuals featured in the month of March, and some of them even have giveaways attached to their interviews (a little hint-hint to check back!).

Not only that, but to celebrate the March Talent Showcase being back, I will be doing my own little giveaway. For every comment that you leave on BlytheLife.com during the month of March, you’ll get one entry into a giveaway for some dolly sized clothes (and perhaps some other surprises, if I can wrangle them together). The winner will be announced in April. Spammy comments will not count, of course, and international entrants welcome. All you need to do is comment during the month of March.
