QOTW: How often do you play with your dolls?

When Cameo arrived, I did a little photostory of her first meeting with Eden.
To me, playing with dolls has taken on a different meaning since I was a little girl. Before it was all about make believe and the imaginative play that would go on for hours and hours. Nowadays, playing with dolls is primarily the dressing-up fun, finding the right pair of shoes for the outfit of the day, and doing little photoshoots – because why not?
How often do you play with your dolls?
EVERY FLIPPIN’ DAY!
I would say I play with them a couple of times a month, or at least, one or two of them get a re-dressing or an outing or pictures taken of them. To me, a big hinderance in taking photos is that I don’t have any good light indoors, so I almost have to go outside if I want to take pictures, so then it’s if weather permits and what time of day it is, et cetera. There are lots of times where I’ll get all geared up for a photoshoot but will have to wait days and days to do it…
I knit clothes for my dolls and change their clothes at least weekly. I haven’t been too successful with new hairstyles but I do try braiding, twisting into buns etc.
I knit clothes for my Blythe dolls everytime I see a cute new pattern. They have lots of hair decorations, flowers and toys. I try to do their hair but I’m not so good at it. Mostly I braid it or twist it into a bun. I love to display them in our livingroom so I can look at them while I knit and watch TV. They make life much more fun.
