QOTW: Did you get new dolls for the holidays?

‘Tis the season for giving! And for those who were good Blythe enthusiasts, I hope some of you had been given a doll (or two, or three!). No dollies for me this year, although I did get quite a bit of things related to my other hobbies (primarily the tea drinking lifestyle that I’ve truly adopted and embraced over the last year). The last time I received a doll for Christmas was Mollie (Simply Sparkly Spark) for Christmas 2011, who’s a delight and wound up getting holiday-themed beads for her pull string.
Did you get new dolls for the holidays? (Who did you get?)
Mollie’s wearing: headband/stock, sweater/chelleshocks, tights/stock.
Moxie’s wearing: headband/stock, sweater/chelleshocks, tights/unknown.
I didn’t get a Blythe this year, but I got a miniature “Blythe size” croquet set, and little picture frames for my dollhouse from the Hallmark store. I still haven’t decided what to mount in them. Any ideas?
Oh, that sounds like fun! I think intricate images would be most realistic (think like the ‘adult colour book’ level of details) for a scaled down image to be framed.
I didn’t get any new dolls for the holidays, in fact, I didn’t even get any presents 🙁 But that’s okay. Throughout the year I was able to purchase several dolls and other items on my extensive wish list, so that kind of makes up for the lack of gifts in December 🙂
No new Blythes here – but I also am on the fence right now about which girl I’d like to get next! So it’s just fine. 🙂
