QOTW: Do you dress your dolls for the holidays?

There are many Etsy sellers who cater towards those who like to dress their dolls for the holidays. There are plenty of fantastic red-and-green-and-white dresses that will make your doll look like an elf in December, and many spooky spider-covered dresses for the month of October, and let’s not forget the pastel bunny options for spring. While I tend to just dress my dolls in whatever (I’m a horrible doll owner – I should have my ownership license revoked!) there are many who do dress their dolls for the holidays. In the best way that I can, this was the best I could come up with for spring (please don’t laugh too hard):
Do you dress your dolls for the holidays?
That is so cute! I don’t have many holiday pieces in my Blythe wardrobe – but seeing this adorable bunny capelet makes me want to get some!
I haven’t any really holiday themed outfits at the moment or any costumes for Halloween. The only thing I that is a knit replica of the pink Chanel suit Jackie Kennedy wore that day, only because one of my girls has hair similar to Jackie’s of that era.
They have dressy frocks but no holiday themed ones. I’m sorely lacking! 🙂
I wish I was a more innovative in my crochet as I’ve not known how to do it long, I wish I could find more fun free crochet holiday patterns for Blythe!
The short answer is: no. I don’t dress my dolls for the holidays, but I like the idea. I think the wardrobe would be divided into Halloween costumes and Japanese holidays.
I do for Halloween as apparently, trains arnt good Halloween costumes for people- strongly disagree!
