Question of the Week: Does your Blythe wear shoes?

I have a lot of doll shoes. Not as much as some people, but it still seems like a fair bit to me because it’s a lot more pairs that now much I have for myself. The unfortunate thing for both my girls and my wallet is that despite the amount of shoes that I have, my dolls generally go around without shoes. (In fact, two of them went to BlytheCon without any shoes on!) This week’s question is all about those little shoes that are just so easy to collect:
Do you have a lot of doll shoes? Do your Blythe generally wear those shoes?
Mine wear shoes when they’re having their picture taken – it’s so much easier to pose them with shoes on for balance! I myself love to wear Chucks, so my Blythes have a selection of micro Chucks which they all share. Love ’em!
When they’re just on their stand they are, and I’d like them too, but I bought four pairs of platform Mary Janes and this happened: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mochaxlight/5930778465/in/photostream
The only other shoes I have (that fit) are Wellies, stock shoes and sandals that don’t fit perfectly. I’m looking into getting boots and Chucks though.
I’m a shoe fiend, so naturally my girls need to be stylish as well. :b
there are never enough shoes, neither for dollies or for myself! well I tend to buy much less for myself, as they’re more expensive and I need my shoes to be comfortable.
for dolls, Blythe or others, it’s a lifetime quest! really! since I started making dolls clothes for my Sindy when I was 13, I started searching for nice shoes and boots everywhere, anytime. most of the dolly shoes I own are Barbie originals (the easiest and cheapest to get over here) that I sometimes customize. for Blythe my favourites are Takara’s because they fit better, usually have cool designs and are very good quality. recently I finally managed to get some Licca-chan go-go boots (which also fit Blythe’s feet as a glove) and I fell in love!
